Products liability can be combined with public liability. Adding products liability to your insurance would protect you against claims arising from using defective products or applying them in a negligent way which caused injury to your client.

Professional indemnity is a vital insurance to provide financial protection against legal action if there are any errors or omissions in your advice leading to an alleged financial loss for your clients. Potential risks professional indemnity insurance could protect you from include:
YOUR Insurance offers a £100k limit on Professional Indemnity cover for electricians or electrical contractors as standard or up to £5m limit as a cover add-on. Please note the higher limits are subject to Underwriters approval.
Commercial legal cover will help you defend your legal rights. As an electrician or electrical contractor, we can provide you with Commercial legal cover up to £100k, which includes: employment disputes, taxation proceedings, jury service allowance and contractual disputes.
Efficacy cover protects you against legal liability as a result of a product or service you provided, which failed to perform as and when intended. The limit of incidental efficacy cover provided to electricians and electrical contractors by YOUR Insurance is £100k.

Financial Loss cover protects you from pecuniary loss cost or expense which was not caused by injury or physical loss, pollution or contamination. We offer £50k limit to electricians or electrical contractors. Depending on circumstances, additional efficacy cover is included for financial loss.
Being called for jury service is an event no-one can predict. Your civic duty can turn into your worst nightmare if you have jobs worth thousands of pounds scheduled to take place at the same time as your jury service. Jury service cover can protect you against such risk and keep your business going. YOUR Insurance offers £1k limit to electricians or electrical contractors.
