We will guarantee to beat your home renewal quote by £10!*

Home insurance is important, but in this hard economic climate, it's quite low on many peoples priorities list.  A recent survey published by the ABI (Association of British Insurers) and carried out by YouGov found out that almost 1 in 4 people (22%) cancelled or did not renew their home contents insurance in the second quarter of this year.  17% cancelled or did not renew their buildings insurance.

If your Christmas tree caught fire this year, would you be able to pay for the damage caused if you didn't have buildings and contents insurance?  If the answer to this question is no, then you should call us, as we will be able to provide you with cover at a lower price than your existing renewal, subject to the following terms and conditions;

  • *Offer only applies to existing clients.
  • Not available on home building and contents renewals currently held.
  • We will beat your current insurer's renewal quote on a like-for-like basis by a minimum of £10 providing you supply written proof of the other insurer's premium.
  • Subject to 3 years claim free on Home Insurance, no history of subsidence or flood & proposer is over 30 years old.

Added Benefits

  • Legal Expenses cover that ensures that you and your family are protected against legal costs in the event of disputes involving your home, family or employment.
  • Property Emergency cover will give you 24/7 access to reliable tradesmen should you suffer an emergency.
  • Identity Theft Assistance will help you restore your legal and credit position with 24hr assistance.
  • The added bonus of knowing that you are protected by a consortium of some of the UK's leading insurers, including AXA, Allianz and Royal & Sun Alliance.

Other Key Findings

The survey also found these results:

  • 13% have cancelled their life insurance
  • 21% say they are seriously considering stopping or reducing saving
  • 45% say that they would like to save more, but can't afford to do so
  • Nearly half (49%) say that they are worried about their ability to cope in the event of a sudden event, such as a burglary
  • When asked about cutbacks people have made or planned to make; family treats, such as eating out were top of the list at 68%, followed by holidays (56%).  Good news for men though, as 6 out of 10 women are prepared to reduce spending on clothes and shoes!
